Everyone get back, because kids are trick-or-treating around the big house. When most people think of a modern-day jailhouse, they rarely think of children doing hard time behind bars. Some kids just aren’t meant to stay in school or even meant to be among decent members of society. Some kids were simply born to be convicts. Show people what happens to children who behave badly this Halloween with this hardened criminal costume. Let your kids be outlaws for a night at the lowest discount prices. This cool costume may make crime look appealing, but you’ll corral your little convicts back into the patty wagon once Halloween is over.
Hardened Criminal Kid Uniform Costume
(Available Sizes: children’s 7-10)
Inmates have never looked this sharp or this adorable. Their uniforms are usually colored drab hues, but this hardened criminal kid uniform costume is a nice change of pace to simpler times when chain gangs toiled at the side of the road.
This great kid convict uniform comes with three pieces: a top, pants, and a hat. All pieces are made completely out of polyester. The costume is unisex so both boys and girls can enjoy jailhouse fashion at the cheapest prices. Your son and daughter can now be matching partners in crime!
The polyester top features horizontal white and black stripes that resemble a classic prisoner’s uniform. The shirt has a shiny finish that catches the light and is sure to make your little convict stick out of a crowd of boisterous inmates. The top has long sleeves that reach slightly past the elbows and have the same striped pattern continuing onto them. On the back of the top is a zipper for easy changing into and out of the costume. Across the chest in a white stripe are the words “State Prison” written in ominous black letters outlined in reddish-orange. Below that is a prisoner identification number in the same reddish orange. On the back of the shirt, it wisely says “don’t do the crime if you can’t do the time” in orange letters.
The included shiny polyester pants perfectly match the top with the horizontal white and black stripes. The pants reach down to the ankles. So your kid can truly look like a suave prisoner, an authentic-looking cap is included in this illicit ensemble. The cap is round and features vertical black and white stripes on the top and a black stripe around the brim.
Since the shoes are not included, you should definitely buy some black children’s boots on sale at the lowest discount prices. Also clap some rubber shackles and metal handcuffs on your kids so that their outlaw appearance can be even more convincing.
Historically, children have been an extremely small component in prison systems around the world. In the United States, most children under the age of 18 who commit crimes or break the law are sent to juvenile hall, or juvenile detention facilities, where they serve much shorter and easier sentences than their adult counterparts. Striped convict suits have not really been used since the early 1940s, but were very popular before then because of the sense of discipline they instilled in jailhouse inmates. They also made it easy to identify an escaped inmate.
